More air time boosts your efficiency whenever you’re out shooting aerial video or stills. You’ll get more work done, or depending on what you’re doing, have more fun. The DJI Mavic Pro Platinum Fly More Combo keeps you flying more in several ways.

First, there’s the Mavic Pro Platinum itself. It has an extended flight time up to 30 minutes, with 27 minutes of hovering time. That’s about 11 percent more than with the original Mavic Pro.

Then there’s the convenience that the combo package adds. You get 2 extra batteries, which means you spend less time on the ground waiting to recharge. You also get a battery charging hub, which charges up to four batteries at a time, and a car charger.

The shoulder bag that’s part of the combo also helps, because it makes transporting your Mavic Pro Platinum more efficient.

Mavic Pro Platinum Fly More Combo features:

  • Flight time: 30 minutes
  • Hovering time: 27 minutes
  • Range: 4.3 miles
  • Live video streaming: 1080p close up, 720p farther from base
  • Remote control: Folding to pocket size; cable-free smartphone mount
  • Maximum speed: 40 mph in Sport Mode
  • Positioning: Reliable with redundant sensors
  • Obstacle avoidance: as close as 2 feet; as far as 49 feet at up to 22 mph
  • Subject tracking: DJI Active Track

Why Mavic Pro Platinum?

This isn’t just a foldable drone; it’s a DJI foldable drone. Mavic Pro is the most affordable full-featured line of foldable drones available, and Platinum is the best of Mavic Pro.

Mavic Pro Platinum is a compact, high-performance quadcopter. Its reliability, maneuverability, and speed are unmatched in its class. It shoots brilliant video and sharp stills, both stabilized by a 3-axis gimbal.

Platinum Reduces Noise

The Mavic Pro Platinum flies quieter than its predecessor, thanks largely to its propellers. The Model 8331 props reduce noise by an astounding 4 db — that’s 60 percent less noise.  You’ll hear the difference on takeoff, landing, and hovering.

Platinum Adds Stability

New FOC ESC drivers increase stability in the Mavic Pro Platinum. They derive their stability from the sinusoidal current that drives them.

You Get More and Fly More with a Combo Pack

The Mavic Pro Platinum Fly More Combo Pack saves you money by packaging the accessories you want with the Platinum. Maybe even more important is that the combo saves you time because the package includes:

  • Shoulder bag. When you leave your vehicle and head out on foot to shoot, the bag holds everything you need: the drone, up to 4 batteries, spare propellers, cables, and your smartphone.
  • 2 extra Intelligent Flight Batteries. With 2 extra batteries charged and ready, and one in the drone, you can return to base, swap out the depleted battery for a fresh one, and get right back in the air.
  • 2 additional pairs of propellers. With 3 pairs of spares, you’re ready to get back to flying even if propellers are damaged. And these are the Platinum’s new 8331 props, which are quieter and more efficient.
  • Battery Charging Hub. Save time by charging up to four Intelligent Flight Batteries simultaneously. The hub is smart, charging the battery with the highest power level first so you’re ready to fly sooner.
  • Car Charger. You can even charge an Intelligent Flight Battery while driving to your site.

Mavic Pro Platinum Arrives Ready To Fly

Unfold the four arms until they click. That locks them in place. Snap on the upper propellers before you fly the first time. When starting your drone, the propellers will unfold automatically. Snap your smartphone onto the handheld remote controller, and power up. Calibrate the compass, which takes a minute or so, and you’re ready to take off.

Can the Fly More Combo be returned if I’m not satisfied? Yes, within 7 days.

Fly by Phone

Download an app to your smartphone and you can take a quick flight or set up a shoot, flying only by phone without using the controller.

Redundant Sensors

Dual IMUs and compasses on the Mavic Pro Platinum make positioning reliable. Your Mavic has GPS, GLONASS, and ultrasonic rangefinders. Each key sensor on the Mavic Pro is duplicated. That means that if one sensor fails, the backup sensor kicks in.

Vision Sensors

Four vision sensors help you avoid obstacles as close as 2 feet at low speeds, and as far away as 49 feet at speeds up to 22 mph. If you get too close to an object, your Mavic Pro will stop and hover until you tell it what to do. It uses its vision sensors to see in three directions and protect you from unexpected dangers, even if at a high altitude and even if trees are blocking GPS signals.

The Flight Autonomy program gives you and your drone all the information needed for a successful flight. Hover precisely and land almost exactly where you took off with Flight Autonomy. Precision Landing can even tell if the landing site is uneven.

TapFly points your drone in the right direction, Terrain Follow safely maintains position off the ground. Following a subject on a road or trail with changing terrain is a snap with Terrain Follow. And safe Return to Home avoids obstacles on the way back to base, switching on automatically if your battery runs low.

See what your camera sees, almost instantaneously, from as far away as 4.3 miles. DJI Go tells you everything you need to know onscreen — where you are, your attitude, your battery reserve, and what’s in front of you.

Live-Stream Video

You need to see what you’re shooting and exactly where you’re going. The Mavic Pro streams a hi-def view using OcuSync. It streams in 1080p when your drone is nearby, and 720p when it’s farther away — up to 4.3 miles.

Although you see the treamed video in 1080p or 720p, your Mavic records in ultra-high-def 4K. Opt for FPV Goggles to completely immerse you in the flight experience to make you truly believe you’re flying. Tap the side of the goggles to control the drone and camera, or use head movements alone to control the drone. Share the experience by putting the goggles on a friend while you use the remote controller.

OcuSync also allows you to download video and stills while recording additional images. If OcuSync interference, it chooses the best frequency available.

Shake-Free 4K Video, Quality Camera

Aerial video is best in 4K, with more than four times the pixels of 1080p. The Mavic Pro captures 4K video at up to 30fps, stabilized by a 3-axis gimbal that cancels out drone movement.

With ActiveTrack, Mavic Pro Platinum locks onto your subject or onto you, if you want.

If you don’t have a dedicated photographer, just communicate directly with your Mavic Pro Platinum through your remote controller. Remember, with streaming video, you’ll see what your camera does. Choose the mode that’s best for your shoot:

Trace — Your Mavic Pro Platinum will follow either in front of or behind your subject. Given the command, it will even circle your subject. If you’re shooting a wedding, Trace Pro lets you focus on the bride and groom and fly backward — perfectly level — while they’re leaving the church. You don’t have to bend low or walk backward.

Profile — Profile will lock on and follow a hiker, canoeist or skater. It can follow you, too, flying beside you as you move. Watching your dog pick up a scent and follow it? Your Mavic Pro Platinum will fly alongside the dog.

Spotlight — Fly up, down or laterally, and Mavic Pro Platinum will lock on a stationary object and keep it in the frame. Get dramatic zoom shots just from the movement of your drone.

Tripod — Slow your drone and make very measured moves with Tripod. Slow and steady movements by your Mavic Pro Platinum help you capture subtleties and details in every scene.

While shooting 12MP stills, set the shutter between 8 seconds for a time exposure and action-freezing 1/8000 second. Shoot in 3/5/7 fps bursts.

Is it time for a selfie? Mavic Pro Platinum is smart enough to read your hand gestures, then give you three seconds to pose before snapping the photo.

Mavic Pro comes with a 16MB video card; you can buy more storage capacity. Shoot automatically, or manually by controlling aperture, shutter speed, ISO and file format. The door to creativity is always open with Mavic Pro Platinum.

Fly Longer on Intelligent Flight Batteries

Mavic Pro can hover for 27 minutes and fly for up to 30. That’s superior to other small drones. It’s powered by a quick-charge 3S Intelligent Flight Battery, which prevents damage from overcharging and excessive discharge during storage, even if fully charged.

It shows on screen how much power is left.

Video Editing, Sharing, Live Streaming

Share your video quickly and easily. Edit it first and fast, using the DJI Go Editor on your smartphone. If you don’t want to wait, stream live to Facebook or YouTube.

After editing, share your video on Twitter, Instagram or SkyPixel, the DJI community for sharing aerial imagery. For stills with a real professional look, shoot in Adobe DNG RAW, which allows editing for more detail and effects. You’ll get the most out of every pixel.

Ground Video

Your 11.6-lb. Mavic Pro is so compact, you can use it to shoot ground video by removing the props and folding the arms. Mount your phone to your remote controller and connect in WiFi mode. Just handhold the drone, point and shoot video that is made shake-free by the 3-axis gimbal.

To return to the air, just reverse the process. It takes only minutes.

For more professional results, add the Katana Handheld Stabilizer. It has two handles like professional handheld systems and holds your Mavic Pro Platinum securely.
